I just finished setting up the master branch for a local server. I am using the latest retail build which I installed through battlenet. I have created an account in the worldserver console. When running wow through the retail folder, and after logging in with the created account, I am asked for an authenticator code - “Enter the generated digital code.” I am logging in with a designated email with an @ symbol, and the correct password. I have tried using .account set 2fa accountname off in the console but the game still requests the authenticator code. I have tried setting the code to an 8 digit number in the console and entering the same number in the wow client but I only get disconnected. I have also done a full restart of bnetserver.exe, worldserver.exe and my computer after using set 2fa off.
TOTPMasterSecret = is left blank in worldserver.conf
How do I connect without 2fa and authenticator code on a new account in 11.0.5?
