Is there a way for Staff users to start at GM island instead of the standard starting zones?
I know there was an old feature but i think it was removed.
I don’t find any reason for this, just logued in and use .tele gmisland

Well i think you need a script for group 192 in rbac to start in custom zone.
Not any longer, they operate everything using a gui interfaced with the client masked as a character. If they are in world, they are in a spectate state (see all), not an actual character. Very very rarely they will log in as a character to test or diagnose something, but that would on beta.
Just throw something in core. (if GM.master){tele.location (x y z);}
