Dear TrinityCore!

I would like to convert my old Linux (Ubuntu 20.04) Wotlk server to Windows 10.

I bought a new VPS server computer and I want to run the server on windows.

What should I do now?

Copy your authseever and worldserver configs, dbc, maps,.cameras, mmaos folders, and dump.your databases out of the Linux SQL server and import them into the windows server. Unless the sql server won’t be changing.

Basically, just build the server on windows, and use all of the data, folders, and configs from the Linux box. There’s nothing special about moving over.

Oh, if you specified any executables or paths in the configs, such as for the MySQL executable, you’ll have to update those. Otherwise, it’s simple.
