I have compiled TrinityCore 3.3.5 branch using the instructions on the Wiki for Linux, and get a working set of binaries. I decided to recompile recently after having not rebuilt for a couple of years, and have run into the problem where I get the following assertion failure when trying to login to the worldserver:
/src/src/common/Cryptography/ARC4.cpp:31 in ARC4 ASSERTION FAILED:
worldserver | result == 1
I have found various posts talking about needing to copy a legacy.dll in the case of Windows, but there is no such similar step necessary described for Linux. Is there anything silly that I have overlooked in some piece of documentation somewhere?
I am compiling inside a fresh Docker container running debian:bookworm-20240722-slim, using clang. So far as I can see, my compilation is unchanged to how it was a few years ago which was working fine, and also appears to be pretty much the same as main TrinityCore CircleCI build and test job is doing.
I am compiling against the 3.3.5 branch at 1d34bb7e9496d9c7fae4b978af372ceee54724c2.
