Changing password doesn't work

Hello,
I use Ubuntu 24.04 and two server TrinityCore

  1. TrinityCore rev. fa8f2fb273ed (master branch)
  2. TrinityCore rev. 4ebece99469a (cata_classic branch)

The logged in user has GM level 3. I am trying the below command on both servers in the console and via SOAP.

The account id is 12#1

I write:
account set password 12#1 new_password new_password

The system writes:
The password was changed

But the password is not changed, the original password still works.

Is it the server’s fault or mine?

Any idea?

I’m so sorry, it was a mistake on my part, the command should be:
bnetaccount set password account_name new_password new_password
