I’ll give it a go, thank you.
Edit: Sorry I forgot to mention, I’m using enGB version. Does that matter? That tut says its for enUS
I downloaded this little program called WoWRegeneration.exe
This downloaded the complete Data folder of WoW… (This took 24 hours though >.<)
It seems to be working now…
Woo hoo!! /emoticons/default_biggrin.png
I’ve been told that it doesn’t matter, the difference between enUS and enGB is strictly localization. Since I have an enUS client I didn’t want to risk screwing it up by trying to apply an enGB patch.
Never heard of WoWRegeneration.exe but glad you got it working.
New problem: http://gyazo.com/776f488ff119eb71ac760b5eda9c7f4a
I tried files from 4.3.4 repacks, I made my own tools (from CMake), I ran it, no matter what I do it always gives me this error.
By the way, the new mapextractor.exe does not work properly. It opens for half a second, shows black CMD screen and then shuts down.
I got 6.0.2.19034 build, Battle.net says it’s fully updated, no download bar as everything should there, what’s wrong?
Having same problems as said above in #68854, master 6.x branch
-Edit1
Scan&repair initiated, going to look if it fixes my errors
–Edit2
Nope.
—Edit3
Ok I got part of the deal, cleaned old files and run mapextractor again, guess it was some pandaria junk left from SFemu. After DBC are done I’m going to start again doing vmaps.
----Edit4
And still problems with extraction and creating vmaps, but at least server started and crashes at “initializing data stores”. dbc might be corrupted tho.

TrinityCore rev. 96b5eafc06d9 2014-10-24 15:11:40 -0400 (6.x branch) (Win64, Debug) (worldserver-daemon) rebuilt project and trying to redo all extractions again

Still not running. my worldserver crashing at dbc http://i.imgur.com/ZiYmil7.png

Mesaj,
I am having the same problem. DBC issues with world server, though I can get auth and the btnet up fine. Oddly, I have the enUS client, but map extractor keeps creating an enUS and enGB folder. I also notice that the number of maps between each folder is different.
I have even tried deleting the entire build folder and recompiling the servers again from scratch, but it still will not work.
As for the client, I got the full client from Blizzard, so I doubt it is missing anything, and there are no more downloads coming in.
Sometimes I get a DBC issue, sometimes world server just crashes as I am trying to start it. I can’t seem to get anywhere on it either.
The extractors have not been fully updated to 6.x just yet nor are we able to get ingame with worldserver. So everyone please be patient.
Hi,
Same problem can’t launch Worldserver.exe
changed the DataDir in worldserver.conf but still not work
i think the worldserver can’t find the dbc directory but i’m not able to solve this
here my Server.log if it can help /emoticons/default_happy.png
I extract the frFR Dbc maybe it’s the problem
EDIT 1 : i found this in mapextractor/System.cpp
"none", "unknown1",
"enUS", "koKR",
"unknown2", "frFR",
"deDE", "zhCN",
"esES", "zhTW",
"enGB", "enCN",
"enTW", "esMX",
"ruRU", "ptBR",
"itIT", "ptPT",
Maybe the line “unknown2”, “frFR”, corrupt my DBC folder i don’t really know
Don’t compile the 6.x branch. Use 3.3.5 or 4.3.4 until it’s stable.
Noted. I will keep my eye on the forums and wait until it is to the level that we can at least log in to start testing.

Side note I am compiling a 434 server and will extract all data when it is completed. I am pretty sure it is going to give me an expected v1.4 map error, the spoiler tag below is from an earlier build. 10fb948c409e 2014-10-25 17:11:35 +0200 (master branch) (Win64, Debug) (worldserver-daemon)

I am finding this is an issue with x86 or 64 bit files.
Any help would be appreciated, thanks.
Looking at the wiki now i see — >
Extracting DBC, Maps, VMaps & MMaps
[COLOR=rgb(255,0,0)]WARNING - as of 10/26/2014 - extractions of the following files DO NOT work yet. Please be patient as we work out the kinks.
Re-installing the client (434) and trying extract the needed files again, a little sleep can do wonders… Anyway, can anyone confirm or deny the 3.3.5a issues with the server? I have extracted several times and still getting the same crash.
Hello
When i run the extractors they stop working.
What’s wrong? Is there any fix?
I compiled latest 4.3.4 Core yesterday.
But i need the vmaps and such.
ALSO
there is Authserver.exe and bnetserver.exe?
can anyone explane those? Do i open both to start server or one of them?
Thanks in advance
Regards
Hyldran0
Getting this error when I try to use mapextractor.exe it says FILE_NOT_FOUND any ideas?
the main repo is now 6.x, not 3.3.5, for that, you need to checkout the 3.3.5 branch.
It’s that hard to see http://www.trinitycore.org/f/topic/10656-updating-or-starting-with-trinitycore-issues/?
Thanks
Well i cant see a fix for my problem /emoticons/default_tongue.png

If you have problems with core being unable to find dbc/maps/mmaps/vmaps files can be because you don’t have extracted the files, or you have put them on incorrect directory, check the path for them, also, using absolute paths (c:pathtotrinitycoredbc_maps_mmaps_vmaps_files) can help you better than using relative paths.
