chovie23q: I can make a patch probably later today, but use at your own risk. It modifies WDB fields and isn’t exactly the best code (base is from some code that was floating around on these forums a while ago, achievement code is from Elron103’s repo). It works with the current TC rev, but it does have a few visual bugs, for example NPCs do not appear to be riding their mount client side, they will appear to be standing at their spawn point until their mount dies.
fiveofeight: Ok thank you, i took the scripts and sql from ur repo and tried yes that is true they dont appear on mounts and stuff, but also you’re missing sounds for announcments by the announcer and tirion,jaina,varian,garrosh,thrall when they talk at start, and black knight is not on his gryphon either so yea these need to be fixed, i have one more question about these scripts, do they use hacks? if so still post a patch but if they dont use hacks then the tc devs could also use this patch in there repo provide fixes and such so then it will work and be in tc source where everyone can use.
Yes, it uses a bunch of hacks atm. I’ll probably work on trying to improve the script in the future. As for the announcer and intro NPCs, there are no sounds for them, at least not that I can find (nothing in the soundentities.dbc, and they didn’t have any audio when I did ToC5 on the ptr). Current rev ToC script is fine until BK, which doesn’t work because the above issue. With the SQL changes fiveofeight has just posted it will work without further modifications.
