Hello I tried to install this but I don’t find any line for the MySQL settings in the configure.php so can you tell me how do I install this
You need to clone site from github, then just open it in browser.
It will promt you with installation page, so you can enter any info on that page. Your Configuration.php will be updated as soon as website will be able to connect to 4 databases (auth, characters, world, website) (this is just example, enter names you specified for your databases
Well, github repo is going to be empty from now, i dont want to be associated with a “licensing” system for FreedomCore.
After a short conversation, other github user stated that he want to use licensing (free licenses, but only for “chosen ones”), so that was the last drop, apart from no interest from community, etc.
From now on:
[ul][li]No more pushes to main repo[/li][li]No more help with bugs[/li][li]No more general support related to FreedomCore, FreedomHead[/li][/ul]
Also, world wont be able to see FreedomCore Laravel Edition, due to reasons i’ve already mentioned.

I dont like the fact, that someone taking it and trying to implement ‘licensing’ system, to be able to control of whom gonna be using it. Its totally wrong. Also, people forking it, making some changes (not the major one), and not submitting pull requests, etc…
Now i know exactly how TrinityCore developers feel when people creating so called ‘private’ releases, and sell them. Instead of helping community, they are actually slowing down the process… So, to the point…
I’ve made a mistake few years ago, when i tried to implement such thing with FreedomHead, and that was the point i stopped to develop it. Since then, every piece of software im doing, is 100 free for everyone. So sorry, im not gonna comeback to FreedomCore any time soon (maybe even never)
Such a shame that a perfectly wonderfull project came down because of a technicallity, I just discovered it like a month ago and downloaded it to try, now I’m back willing to help and found the repo is empty.
I know about private servers and their dishonorable ways (from my point of view), yet I honestly believe a trully funcional server like the one trinity is aiming to be needs a project like freedomcore.
If somehow you or anyone decides to continue pushing this up, I can be counted to help.

So the development of resumes? Right now we are helping to look for errors that fanaticus and he corrects it accordingly. But already told me what will happen license.
It seems that he has deleted cloned repo, so probably he decided to go full private. In that case, feel free to contribute to his repo.
I’ll continue to do mine, but (i’ve been able to access his “demo” site) for now, i can see that he has 0 or 1 out of 10 points in knowledge on how to do stuff (hardcoded tpls, hardcoded js, etc). So wish you luck.
I need no help from now on, no support will be given, no reports will be accepted. If he want to “snipe fixes” from my repo, let it be, but i wont be providing any support for mine.

So after the release of the updater, you wont have to manually import SQL’s into database, script will do it for you!

I’m not sure if people would want to waste their data for “private” (i mean not official server) on some random stuff… So not for now, but if this feature is really needed, then why not
